ITALY V. ENGLAND 16/5/48:
a Marrola brown leather football used in the 1948 International match, the ball autographed by both teams, some faded; and various Italian newspaper cuttings relating to the ball

The above ball was used in the 1948 International match between Italy and England. In the match played on 16th May in Turin, England defeated Italy 4-0. The signatures on the ball also include members of the Torino side who perished in a plane crash in 1949.
